Episode 79

Former O.U.R. Volunteer Tells Her Story For the First Time

Mormon. We recently learned Monique has a connection to Operation Underground Railroad, where she worked as a volunteer for a number of years around 2016. Monique's experiences reveal quite a lot about the environment and practices of OUR from the very beginning.

Monique is in a position to understand what best practices should look like in an organization that fights against sex trafficking. She has worked in the field of activism relating to sex trafficking and abuse for over ten years through research, development, prevention, victim services and more. She was more than qualified to give a professional perspective and guidance to the OUR team but was never consulted.

We were fascinated by the insights Monique shared in this episode and we know you will be too. Thank you, Monique, for coming on the podcast and sharing your story!
